It's '86 & America's been long ensnared in its hot button topic, "The War
on Drugs".  Crack exploded & most major cities started seeing it come in like a tidal wave, families are being further fractured due to newest, most controversial to date Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986, & many of us were either already born or being born around this time.  Love still got us here & through it.

The crack epidemic was in full swing & gripped the country as it was flooded with cocaine.  As it destroyed our neighborhoods, we were exhausting all of our efforts to stay together.

It's '88 & it seems like everyone is connected with a plug.  The hammer's coming down, so the rush to the money is blinding.  Networks are fully up & booming.  The market is set.  People are paying the price.

Here we are in '89 & we're on the verge of a new era.  Technology is advancing at a wild clip & keeping with it is greed.
