So essentially, the unheard of small town high school I attend, in America mind you, received a book from some German church or something. For the first couple of days, we thought it was laced, and didn't touch it. When we finally did, we found a book of conspiracies and all sorts of crap. The end of the world is coming, caused by the arrival of this planet, Hercolobus, and a bunch of things will happen, such as the oceans draining, kaijus waking, among other science fiction trope. You cannot make this up.

I made this for an inside joke. No offense if you're one of the 30 people that believes this.

Plot:

When Hercolobus arrives, doomsday follows. The surface has been ravaged, leading humanity and the aliens residing on Earth underground. You are a Hercolonian spy. You have one job. Wipe out Earth.

Fanontale is an AU that takes inspiration from Undertale fanon perceptions by using it to influence the roles the beloved characters take, as well as manifesting in-universe, affecting the characters and their stories.
This is not an Undertale AU about "What if Undertale fanon was good", but rather one that seeks to answer the question of "what if fanon perceptions had direct consequences for the lives these characters live?"

Waterfall -- now known as Rainshade -- isn't as different as the other areas, really. No grand cataclysms have overtaken it, and the grand redevelopment is... well, it's present, but not that much. More pathways, more safety rails, more signage, new puzzles, new posters. The ever-present and unmistakeable solemness is present, but it seems a little more buried and hidden. More people hang around there nowadays, and given how nigh-all of them want to see the Absolute have a watery grave, and given how much of a public status the Absolute has now acquired, it seems like things don't bode well for the prophesised demon.

The Underground has been overcome by a dangerous prophecy, one that has spread like wildfire. The Absolute will come- and they will usher in a new era. Some think of them as the end of the world, the final nail in the coffin for monsterkind, and others idolise them to an absurd extent, heralding them as their new god. 

Watch Chara, the fallen a̶n̶g̶e̶l̶ human, have to fight their way out of these perceptions and distortions, and maybe uncover the truest version of themselves along the way.
