Barcelona has a history of producing and cultivating techno talent, however, in this instance, Paula Cazenave has been a mainstay in its scene since moving in 2003. From studying audiovisual production and sound technology, to having played gigs around the world alongside the likes of Ben Klock, Freddy K, Truncate and Nina Kraviz, she is without question an influential figure. Running the excellent Combine Audio label allows her to show qualities needed for selecting superb club music, while also releasing on other labels such as Ben Sims' Symbolism, Marco Faraone's UNCAGE and Berlin's Rave the Planet, which is linked to the legendary Love Parade. This exclusive mix has raw energy, jackin' rhythms, slick mixing skills and of course, a prime insight to an underground tastemaker's renowned expertise.
