London duo Nichols+Roark bring their luminous house sounds to SHIFT with new single Static Orders.

Nichols+Roark are famed for cooking up storytelling progressive house and deep techno with nostalgic chord structures and hypnotic drums. Their expert melodies and rhythms have come on labels like The Soundgarden, Selador and Balance, and as a duo they have DJ’d across the world on bills with the likes of Carl Cox, Jamie Jones and Sasha.

Static Orders is a broody sound with rumbling drums and bass setting a dramatic mood. The wispy chords, sweeping pads and celestial melodies all lighting up the airwaves with great cinematic tension.
