Hace ya unos años, nos remitimos al 37 A.d.P. (Antes de Pío), el equivalente al año 2018 de la era humana, en la localidad de Nío Genil, (aunque los habitantes de allí, como pían con la “e” lo denominan “Níe” Genil), un lugar perdido en el Sur, infernal, donde en los meses de Verano se podían freír huevos en la calle… Ups!!! Perdón.

Vivía un vulgar pollo de granja, un pájaro de mal agüero y el más precoz de todos, ¡Pues era el primero en lucir cresta!. Aún así, aparte de su deleznable actitud tenía ciertas inquietudes musicales y decidió grabar sus propias canciones, aunque sabía de antemano que le sería difícil ganarse el apiste con ello.

Poco a poco, el desafinado piar fue evolucionando al dulce trino de un ruiseñor (bueno quizás exagero, y además tampoco es eso lo que buscamos con esto, ¿No?) y aunque aún le costaba colocar correctamente las plumas para hacer los acordes en la guitarra el proyecto fue evolucionando positivamente.

Aprovechó el pequeño corral donde vivía y decidió readaptarlo, albergando en el todo tipo de artilugios de dudoso uso, pedales, instrumentos y tal maraña de cables que tenía que adentrarse en el volando y salir de la misma forma para no quedar enredado y morir de inanición. Como podéis ver grabar se trataba de una auténtica odisea.
Y así, rompiendo el cascarón; nace y se hace “The Rivas”, grupo de Punk Melódico en Español y el Sello “Ejecutive Pollo Records”, todo realizado de forma autogestionada y por amor y pasión a la música. Y el resto podéis escucharlo en esta plataforma.

Por cierto, se me olvidaba: De su granja también salió “Toni Halcón”, famoso pollo Skater y se compuso el emblemático tema de “Volare”

Me piro por patas!!!.
