BIOG
LichtStern is a part time globetrotter dreamer, light and music lover. He has prepared mesmerizing sound journeys across a range of electronic music for some time. The Lyon French native employs effectively majestic melodies and deep basses that go from the outside in. His style roots influence goes back to mid-90s with tech pioneers Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Manu le Malin, Sven Väth and later on with deep and inspiring trip hop vibes from artists such as massive attack, Portishead, thievery corporation and others alike. Today his sound finds much inspiration in these roots together with the latest notes dropped on Azur beaches from Tel Aviv all the way up to shores of the Berliner Spree: deep, melodic, oriental, happy or dark with a notch of hard when needed, but always vibrating and guided with the beauty of lights, winds and souls coming together to lift up on the dancefloors. His stunning musical narratives have been vibrating across Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Luzern, Ibiza and Cabarete.

Hallén's musical journey began in 2008 as a DJ in Oslo, Norway, where his passion quickly established him as a key figure in the nightlife scene. His talent and dedication led to residencies at top clubs and bookings across Scandinavia and southern Europe.
In 2015, Hallén moved to Madrid, Spain, and later to Lisbon, Portugal, where he embraced the underground scene and evolved as a versatile artist. His focus on music production paid off with notable successes, including his track "Mind Trip" on Techno Addicts Records, which hit #18 on Beatport's Top 100 New Releases.

Played at the legendary DEFECTED party at EDEN, Woomoon at Cova Santa Ibiza, Café Mambo Ibiza, Nomade Tulum, Café del Mar Phuket, Momento Marbella. 

Supported by Pete Tong on BBC R1 with his collab on islandman track “Aku Membawa”. And a super Remix by Gerd Janson of Aku Membawa. 

Played for 7 years at Distortion (DK), Club Awards and twice at the infamous Coma Club.   Keep both eyes open for WALTHER in 2024 it will be a big year for him with a lot of strong releases, it will be a busy year ahead!
