So basically I made an... uplifting? Piano cover of the underwater theme from the SEGA Master System game known as "Alex Kidd in Miracle World". If you aren't familiar with what that game is, it's a platform game for the Master System, known as the Mark III (Mark 3) in Japan.

And I figured I'd do something like this because, as some hardcore SEGA fans who like more than just Sonic probably know, Alex Kidd himself used to be SEGA's mascot before Sonic existed.

Something I've noticed about this theme from the game: It sounds kind of like the classical piece "Canon in D" by Johann Pachelbel, even sharing an eerily similar bassline.

Don't believe me? Listen to the original song that this is covering and Canon in D transposed into the same key as said song--E flat major--side by side, and tell me in the comments if you hear a similarity like I do.
