“Bored Again” is a slow-burning alt-rock breakdown about going numb in your own life.
The verses drag with muted, monotone vocals — like they’re sung through a cheap, dying microphone — capturing the dull routines, the beige mornings, and the quiet dread of feeling nothing at all.

As the pressure builds, the song erupts into a distorted emotional burst with bass-heavy drops and raw intensity.
A soundtrack for anyone stuck in the loop, staring at the ceiling, wondering when the spark died.

A mix of alt-rock grit, electronic tension, and the kind of exhaustion you can’t quite name.

Bored Again

'He'll Drive You Home' Was inspired by Duster.
This is the only song I have made that uses a Cajon and I was really happy with how it turned out. If you don't know what a Cajon is, it's basically a box you sit on and smack. I also then sampled my bass drum from my drum kit aswell throughout.

I made the recording of the guitar unnecessarily difficult on myself playing a chord with 4th fret on the A string and at the same time 9th on the D. I later found out this same chord could be played 4th fret A and 4th fret G. The recording process implimented the uses of a capo to help with this and another difficult chord change as I would end up playing lots of unwanted notes.

A strange but important part of the sound of my guitar is the plectrum. I used a folded up cardboard cornetto lid. I'm not sure why I did it at the time but I can't recreate the sound now perfectly unless I do. The specific lid I used lives in my guitar case now till this day.

The vocals in this song start off clean and slowly become more distorted. This was done by a vocal track being played through a distorted amp plugin slowly increasing in volume.

I recorded my first music video for this song which just featured me playing the song switching between the guitars and bass. I covered my face with a pop filter so I didn't have to pretend to sing.

And just because his heart was shattered before they met doesn't mean he can't recognize whole when he sees it. That's the gift in the curse: even in ruins, he still knows beauty. Even grounded, he still sees grace. He just can't reach it. But knowing it exists?

CYBER CHORD writes songs the way a porch light holds a night: small, steady, and impossible to ignore. I work with AI as a true co-writer, then carve the lyric by hand and shape the track in Suno. The sound leans bare and human—country roots in the soil, a little rock grain in the teeth, and a faith-lit lift that chooses hope without preaching.

These are ordinary-room hymns: rings hidden in cotton, receipt-tape strings, a dress behind rain glass, a sink that cools while you find the words. Silence is an instrument here; sometimes there’s a full bar where the house gets to breathe. If a line can’t survive a campfire and a cracked mug, it doesn’t make the song.

If you’re new, start with the heartbreakers. They don’t shout. They stay. I believe in the holiness of the everyday, and in the quiet bravery of saying the thing before “later” takes it away.
