Randy Dzielak from Asheville, NC is a multi instrumentalist who writes music for Film, TV & Ads. American Pickers, The Voice, Jersey Shore, Animal Planet, Starbucks, Toyota, Lexus, Hyundai. He was signed to Mercury Records, Alligator Records and Universal Music Publishing
  
  While living in New York, he joined Dogma, a rock band out of Brooklyn signed to Mercury Records as a songwriter/lead guitarist.  After 5 years, 2 albums and touring the U.S. he decided to leave Dogma to explore a less heavy, more acoustic driven solo direction.  He had begun to experiment with such instruments as the Banjo, Dobro and Mandolin, which would give his solo work a unique twist of modern rock mixed with a country/folk sound.  His country side was further influenced when he traveled to Nashville to play as a hired gun at the Ryman Theatre for Brooks & Dunn.  Having recorded with such producers as Steve Thompson (Guns & Roses, Metallica) and Jason Cosaro (Sound Garden), Randy now had the skills to record and submit his music for Film and Television.  He was soon signed to Lazybones Recordings as a songwriter for his Americana, Bluegrass & Country genre. His songs continually earn placements in Film - Jane Austen Book Club (trailer), A Thousand Cuts, on TV networks such as MTV, Comedy Central & NBC, and with advertising companies such as Star Bucks & Wal-mart.

The Blurry Pickers are "misfits in bluegrass". Somewhere between where Jerry Garcia meets Bill Monroe, the Blurry Pickers have developed a sound that crosses borders but rests nowhere.  


The Blurry Pickers are hot off the heels of their second album "Diary of a Grassman".  The album is getting rave reviews and air-play on stations across Ontario. David Gans, co-host of 'Tales from the Golden Road' on SiriusXM's the Grateful Dead Channel and Grateful Dead Hour host said of their first release, “It’s just got such a sweet groove and a lovely relaxed vibe. The whole record just charmed the pants off me.” 

Using traditional bluegrass instruments and inspired by many of the old-timey sounds of days gone by, the band draws from their collective time in music and an eclectic array of influences to help form their sound.

Raised in the hidden hills of Southwestern ON, Canada, the Blurry Pickers are known for their infectious melodies, strong vocals, tight harmonies and lightning-fast picking. They have a tremendous group dynamic that will have you tappin' your hands and movin' your feet.
