This mantra is the mantra for planet Mars. It is great for healing and transforming energy in  the reproductive organs, adrenal glands, and  red blood cells. The adrenal glands produce hormones that activate the body's fight-or-flight response. 

Mars' fiery nature is connected with passion, desire and action. It is often associated with masculine archetype energy. It can be connected with the root chakra as it pertains to issues of primal survival, the sacral chakra as it pertains to passion and desire, and the solar plexus chakra as it pertains to fire, and action.

Using this mantra to nourish, balance and harmonize these aspects may be helpful.

The seed syllable mantra is used for removing blockages between the root chakra and the throat chakra. It is chanted at the yang pace for more vigorous effect.

The key of C minor helps us to be grounded in our body, solid in being and incarnation, accepting of what is, and ready to take on new challenges.
