En tekst med en sarkastisk tilnærming til dagens popmusikk, i full balanse og beundring til de som faktisk klarer å lage en "sommer HIT" eller andre HITer, som folk hører på over hele verden. Denne låta kommer aldri til å bli en sommerhit, men det var moro å leke med ord, rytme og rim.

Dette er en statlig pris under Kommunal- og moderniseringsdepartementet, som tildeles byer som viser ekstra gode resultater innen bærekraftig by- og stedsutvikling. Det å ta en tur i Skien by, nær sagt når som helst, gjør at mange begynner å lure. Hva var kriteriene? Hvordan kunne dette skje? Ja ja... sånt kan det fort bli en nidvise av. Og her er den.

Für mich ist es ein Ausgleich, ein Stück Selbsttherapie. Die Texte sind ehrlich und frisch aus dem Herzen. Und wenn ich damit jemanden berühre, der genauso fühlt wie ich, freut es mich umso mehr.

I write what I think, feel, and experience. Writing helps me sort out memories and bring them clarity. When feelings find a melody, something wonderful is created – a message that speaks straight to the heart.

Hjördis & Hallvardsson explore lyrics that once carried weight in very different times — some written just decades ago, others reaching back five or six hundred years. Many of these texts come from folk songs and ballads of the Nordic countries, especially Norway and Sweden.
