Music from everywhere. Progressive house, deep house, melodic techno, breaks. Because “without music, life is an error”.

Here is music that has moved me, stood out for me, had something in it that made me want to dance, move, hear it again, think about what it is saying to me and where it takes me and what should come next. Vocals, synths, real instruments, analogue and digital grooves, big breakdowns, dubby bits, echoes of ethnic and tribal sounds, reinterpreted across the years in the universal language of beats, breaks and bleeps. And some of my own contributions...

Music from everywhere. California, Argentina. Australia. London. Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, Italy, France, the Middle East, everywhere.

I was into hip hop and soul growing up and discovered DJ-ing in 1991 in Oxford, learned to beatmix with a copy of Outlander "Vamp", got deep into progressive house during its epoch, spent my student grant in Massive Records and my summer job money at Tag Records in Soho, DJ-ed in the back room of the Ministry and at the Wag and at parties in France, Russia (Lukich is what my Russian friends call me and it stuck) and South Africa. Was in various bands and got my musical kicks that way. Life happened, kids happened, lockdown happened. I found myself running and doing the hoovering and relying on John Digweed's Bunker sets to get my through it...and started to realise how much amazing music is out there, and had to get involved again...
