DJ ROO Politics of Dancing 4.14.23

I’m thrilled to finally share my first full-length continuous electronic music mix. I dedicate this mix to my new daughter, born 11/7. The cover art is a picture of my father and me as a baby.

My favorite electronic genre is house music, and this mix includes house songs from the 1990s through today. I was greatly influenced by Renaissance: The Mix Collection by Sasha & John Digweed, a 1994 three-part house mix with flawless song selection and technical execution. 

I named this mix “Beautiful Chaos” because despite our best efforts, life can be unpredictable and chaotic, and I find great beauty in that chaos. 

I need to go back and re-record a few errors: the treble is too low at 3:17 and 23:58, and the mix is choppy at 28:40.

I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it! Welcome any feedback.
