“Someone to Save a Life” by Dr. Lach was inspired by moments of deep sadness, by illness that feels like captivity, and by the waiting that comes when help seems far away. The song quietly echoes the question from Psalm 121 — “I lift my eyes to the hills; from where comes my help?” — yet it remains universal, written for anyone who’s ever felt trapped, unseen, or helpless, still holding on for a glimmer of hope and light.

This work spans music, storytelling, and narrative pieces created for moments of quiet attention—during recovery, late nights, childhood, caregiving, grief, hope, and resilience. Some tracks are written for children, some for adults, and many for the spaces in between, where memory and emotion overlap.

As a physician, I am drawn to the ways people endure, adapt, and heal. As a writer, I focus on human relationships, family, vulnerability, and the small moments that shape us. As a composer, I create music meant to accompany rather than dominate—music that can sit beside thought, rest, or reflection.

These pieces are not designed for performance or spectacle.
They are meant to keep company.
