This is the first mix uploaded to my own page in three years, and I'm delighted to finally be able to share it. It is also the first since the birth of my amazing daughter in 2023 - which has certainly affected how much time I have to do this, these days! 

Anytime I've recorded one of the three hour+ mixes that are on my page, I've felt that they perfectly encapsulated what my taste was all about at that time - and this one is no exception. It has genuinely been 14 months in the making, but I feel that it is all the better because of that.

It takes its time, working through some gorgeous deep tracks over the first hour, before shifting into darker territory - and the journey continues from there.

We go through many different flavours of progressive - light and dark, and various levels of energy - and from quite a wide period of time. It does move up through the gears as we go on, and there are some absolutely huge sounding tracks in the latter section.

I know how big an ask four hours of anyone's time is, especially in this day and age - and I am extremely grateful to any of you who are kind enough to take the time.

I'm always convinced that the latest mix I have done is my best, and that is very much the case here. I always try and make these mixes a proper journey. I hope that by the end of it, you'll feel that you've come a long way - and had a great time getting there.

Darf Religion Spaß machen? Sollte sie es vielleicht sogar? Vor allem: Haben wir nicht gerade auch die Erwartung gegenüber den Dingen, die uns begeistern können, dass sie Spaß machen sollten? Die Freie Religion ist nicht nur in steti-ger Entwicklung, sondern hat auch an sich selbst den Anspruch, sich stärker an den Menschen zu wenden und ihn in den Mittelpunkt zu rücken. Wie sollte das heutzutage aussehen? Und wie kann es mehr Interesse und Freude in uns we-cken, ohne seine ernsthafte Substanz zu verlieren?
Zur Sommersonnenwende, also angesichts der allmählich wieder dunkler wer-denden Tage, wollen wir in unserer Freien Religion, in unserer Gemeinschaft und auch in uns selbst erneut auf die Suche nach etwas „Leuchtendem“ gehen, das uns erhellen mag. 
Dafür wird es eine Weihestunde geben und im Anschluss daran ein geselliges Beisammensein bei Speis’ und Trank am Sonnenwendfeuer in unserem Hof.

Als Creative Director und AI Music Producer des Alaze Quantum Projects verbinde ich menschliche Kreativität mit künstlicher Intelligenz in der Musikproduktion. Ich entwickle persönliche Visionen und Geschichten, die ich durch die Kombination meiner künstlerischen Leitung mit KI-Technologie in Musik umsetze. In meiner Rolle als Visionär und Kurator bin ich für die konzeptionelle Entwicklung, das Songwriting und die kreative Ausrichtung verantwortlich, während die musikalische Produktion durch KI-unterstützte Technologie realisiert wird. I like to create mixes of atmospheric progressive house, with the occasional bit of techno thrown in too. I always strive to make every mix a proper journey, hopefully ebbing and flowing whilst balancing dark and light, throughout. 

All my mixes contain a blend of propulsive, driving tracks, coupled with deeper, more emotional productions. There is so much amazing music out there, and I always aim to do it justice, and put any track in a context that will give it maximum impact - whilst still fitting perfectly with the mix as a whole. 

I know when the time is right to record a mix, as I feel an absolute compulsion to do so. Everything uploaded to this page has come about as a result of that. I hope they all convey the overall feeling, and warmth, that I was striving for.

I am immensely proud of all of the mixes I have uploaded to my page, and the many others that are hosted elsewhere on this site - all of which can be found my playlists. I very much hope that any of you kind enough to take the time to listen, enjoy them.

In addition, I was a winner in a mix competition judged by Quivver in 2017, a hugely proud moment. I have also done guest mixes for Gai Barone's Patterns show, Il Modo, PFG, Saturo Sounds, 21C Progressive House and Melodic Distraction.

A bit about me: I am Edinburgh born and bred, I feel incredibly lucky to call this beautiful city home. Growing up, the house was always full of music thanks to my parents. I was also lucky enough to be exposed to some fantastic music thanks to my older brother's exemplary taste.

When branching out on my own, of a wide variety of genres, Depeche Mode were the band that spoke to me the most - with honourable mentions to New Order and The Smiths. 

Even as a young child, the dark atmosphere of their tracks resonated with me, and that has been the biggest influence on the kind of progressive house that I play in my sets.

It was early 90s rave music that first got me into dance music, but it was hearing the bassline on Orbital's 'Halcyon' for the first time in 1995 that made me realise that such music could move you in many, many more ways. 

Seeing Leftfield live in 1996 at the Barrowlands in Glasgow remains the most incredible music experience I've ever had. I was a regular at some seminal Edinburgh clubs in the late 90s and early 2000s, but it was at the legendary Taste where I truly found my clubbing utopia. 

In 2006, thanks to the generosity of Mark and Brian at a Taste afterparty, I had a shot of CDJs for the first time. Later that year, thanks to the advent of virtual DJing, I began recording mixes. I've never really stopped since.

In terms of influences from the world of progressive house, there are too many to mention - but Quivver is my all time favourite producer. As such, when my December 2017 mix was picked out by him for a mix competition he was running, it was among the proudest moments of my life.

I would always consider myself to be a bedroom (or living room!) DJ first and foremost, but I have been lucky enough to play at some fantastic clubs and venues.

I made several appearances at Karnival in Edinburgh, the undoubted highlight of which was appearing on the same bill as Inner City. I was also lucky enough to play at (the sadly now defunct) Kinfolk in Brooklyn NYC, with two of my closest friends.

If DJing was something I never thought I'd end up doing, making music most certainly wasn't - but thanks to Edinburgh legend Kev Wright, I have co-produced numerous tracks that have been released since 2011.

Through Kev I was also lucky enough to tag along with he, Gary and the Beat Laundry crew - and playing live streams during lockdown, with that amazing community, managed to put so many special times into an era that was so challenging for everyone.

My true happy place has always been playing at parties in my living room, or at a friend's house, with a great group of people. 

Those opportunities are few and far between now since my amazing daughter Anya was born in 2023 - but I'm at a different stage of life now, and I am blessed to have this amazing addition to an already phenomenal family.

Making mixes will never leave me though, and I very much hope to still continue to do so, as much as I can, going forward. As much as it's amazing playing in front of a crowd that you're in sync with, I love the permanence of a recorded mix.

There is no better feeling than receiving messages from someone you haven't met, on the other side of the world, letting you know that they are enjoying something that you have created.

As long as I feel compelled to keep putting them together, I will most definitely do so.

Christos Fourkis was born in Greece and grew up in the city of Aigio.At the age of 16 he started as a DJ in local clubs -Bar and at the same time began to be involved in music production.From his first steps in music production he had a great impact worldwide.He has collaborated with renowned electronic music artists and many of his music releases have been ranked number one in sales.His releases have been included in collections such asBuddha Bar -Ministry of Sound -Unicef and in many collections of Ibiza.In 2015 he created his own record company Retrolounge Records where in a short time he began to be next to major record companies.Until 2016, he went through various aspects of electronic music such as Progressive -House -Deep -Lounge until he became interested in the Afro House music scene.In the same year, voted 14th worldwide Afro House music producers according to Traxsource, and in 2019 it was at Beatport on the number 1 best Afro House track and since then until today it is among the top 100 artists.Counting over 500 releases, he continues his musical career and his vision on music creation.

Simplicate is a veteran of the Alaskan underground. With a DJ career lasting over 2 decades, he has been part of every incarnation of the scene since the mid '90s. His combination of house, breakbeats, garage, and progressive, mixed creatively and seamlessly set him apart and has garnered him praise from local and international DJs alike. 

He is a regular guest artist on Alaska's local Beatroots broadcast and attracts listeners from around the world through his DJ mixes and productions released under the moniker Adz & Subtraktz (along with his production partner Jason Parson).

Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska Lexy Chae is a Korean American who loves to produce and dj multiple styles of EDM such as melodic techno, deep house, progressive house and trance. Her dj sets are very versatile and can fit any set time or EDM subgenre. Her most recent track is Echoes of the Void a trance collaboration with Sunny Lax on a track that was picked up by Armada and was featured on the ASOT 2025 Compilation
