DocZion is an Ecstatic Dance, Yoga, Global Beats, Bass, House, and Open Format DJ with over 7 years of experience. Having grown up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Doc was always surrounded by live music and his intro to electronic music. Doc traveled the country and world, eventually landing in Peru, where he lived in the Andes in a small town called Pisac for three years. On a trip to Lake Atitlan in Guatemala, Doc discovered Ecstatic Dance by the beloved Mose! He was hooked and decided to stay there for 5 months to really dive deeper into this magic medicine of EDance. Doc promised himself he would return to Peru to share this medicine weekly, and he did; havinh never stopped since!

Doc has a passion for sharing Ecstatic Dance, world music, bass and house music, community, love, expression, and just a safe place to be yourself. Doc’s mixing is very much influenced by his time in Peru and Guatemala. His fusion of world beats from all over the world will surely take you on a journey through different rhythms, feelings, and emotions. 

Doc has facilitated, hosted, and DJed over a hundred Ecstatic Dance journeys around the world and he is honored to share his heART with yOUR commUNITY! Ecstatic Dance has profoundly changed Doc’s life, and has become a passion of his to share with others. Witnessing others have these life-changing experiences on the dancefloor is the most magical thing to Doc. He honors that and is so grateful to be able to hold that space for others.
