Bouncy To The Bone

Originally released in 2002 on vinyl and CD formats as part of the single "Meltdown" which included various versions of the track, this remix is by legendary Scottish turntablist & DMC finalist DJ Krash Slaughta of II Tone Committee. Digitally re-mastered and included in the EP "Y'All in Meltdown" released in 2019 to mark the re-launch of the label New Dawn Records after a 15 year hiatus.  The EP includes all versions and remixes of what are probably the crew's best known singles "Y'All Under Surveillance" and "Meltdown".

Jimi Needles' musical roots are in hip hop, soul, funk, and disco, but on the turntables he combines pin-point scratching, intricate cuts, breaks, and bass music to craft a unique and high-energy sound that spans genres and keeps the crowd moving! In November 2024, he released his debut album, ''Ample Clearance'', a self-produced project that showcases his versatility as an artist, as a writer, a DJ and a producer. Jimi is also one of the tour DJs for the Symphonica Orchestra, adding his super-tight skills to their live and electric renditions of club classic dance hits.
