I'm trying to create a flow that is auto-launched from process builder that creates opportunity contact roles. Specifically, I'm passing in the opportunity Id and contact Id from the opportunity and I want to create three new contact role records assigning each new record the same contact but different roles. Currently, I'm just trying to assign the same role just to get it working. I'm trying to start the loop using an collection variable (number) and assigning to a loop counter variable (number). The flow is not working. I'm missing something in how I start the loop and get the flow to fire. I've provided a screen shot of the current flow layout.


Now looping through a collection of records, 
incrementing the counters is no longer needed.
 
Instead the record count can be easily fetched in a sobject collection variable and assigned to a number variable.
 No more need to loop around to fetch the count. Get it directly in a number variable and play around with it!


Use a Assignment step, to assign the variable to a number variable. (Point to note: the assignment variable should be of type number only to make use of equals count operator. In the screenshot, this is called testCount)


Branch protection settings may block merging if your pull request does not meet certain requirements. For example, you need a certain number of approving reviews or an approving review from a specific team. For more information, see "About protected branches."


For example, two number variables with values of 1 and 2 could be added together in a flow for a result of 3. If the same variables were data type text, adding them together would result in a text string of 23.


To illustrate this in action, we will debug the flow. We are prompted to input a number for the NumberInputVar. In this example, we use the number 2. This number will not change during the flow but could be set to any number.


LEFT(value, number) returns a number of characters from the left of a text value, in this case our ActiveProductList variable. For the number, we want all but the last two characters, so we use LEN() to return the length of the ActiveProductList variable, and subtract 2 from that value.


This text manipulation can be configured to be quite complex, and can even be used to build HTML code that can start out as simple text values in text elements and formulas and then be displayed in email templates or on screenflow Screen elements to create formatted lists or tables.


Saving a set of changes in Flow Builder always creates a new version of the Flow, so you have to think about Flow versions during deployments. Before v44 of the Metadata API, version numbers were part of the Flow name, e.g. MyFlow-.flow. From v44 onwards, version numbers have been stripped out, e.g. MyFlow.flow.


When you create an instance and claim a number, you automatically have a working contact center in just 5 minutes. This is because Amazon Connect includes a set of default flows that have already been published. It uses them to power your contact center.





I know that the Task and Call Log are created as soon as the phone rings, then updates it as the user works with the Softphone widget, and again after the call ends. So it seems that the widget would know the Id of the Task and Call Log, so it should be possible technically to pass those Ids, together with the phone number, into the Screen Flow and/or Visualforce page.


You also need to specify a data type [3] to tell Flow what kind of data this formula will produce. Depending what you select for data type, you may need to make a couple of other choices. In this case, we're setting the data type to "Number" so we also tell Flow to ignore any decimal places so we can have a nice, whole number.
