- Our choices and our obedience result in blessing.
- This blessing includes provision, protection and well-being.
- His favour surrounds you like a shield, because He loves you.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your blessing on my life. I choose to live in right-standing with You and to honour You with my life. Come, and surround me with Your favour. Your favour brings the comfort and assurance that You will always be with me, especially in times of trouble. Amen.

"Chariot of Fire" by Dr. Elliot Lach tells the story of Elijah’s ascent to heaven in a fiery chariot—an awe-inspiring event witnessed by only one man, Elisha. Scripture records the whirlwind, the horses of fire, and the passing of the prophetic mantle. Was it miracle or divine natural wonder? We may never know. Yet the mystery extends beyond Elijah’s story, reminding us of every miracle—those that have already happened and those still awaited. The song invites us to hold onto faith, wonder, and expectation in the face of the unknown.

The first version was created almost under laboratory conditions: precision, control, work on atmosphere, a subtle dosing of emotions. The Beloved was delicate, dressed in flowing robes, with a gentle blush on her face. This version shows her in a completely different light: evening make-up, a mini dress and high heels on graceful legs, confident and ready to step onto the stage.

Both images – laboratory and stage - do not exclude each other. Instead, they lead straight to my pure musical DNA. It is this factor that makes the sound of this version, though so different from what you heard before, still unmistakably mine. I only hope you understand why I had to take off the mask of a gentle little creature and instead drag you by force into my lair.

Dudley Anderson was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating from Bible College in 1990, God opened the way for Dudley to branch out into Christian radio.
