What is great about this film is that it covers a lot of beyond the surface subjects that you don't expect from watching the trailer which leads to some amazing and deep conversations about mental health and overcoming internal struggles. The first portion of the interview we are joined by the films main antagonist/demon entity Stefanie Estes, and Michael X. Sommers who plays her former husband. Then we close out this episode joined with the star of this film Molly Kunz, who is the daughter of the two and tells us all about suiting up in armor and going to battle.

Today we are joined by Jon Elmaleh of Toronto's Alt-Punk/Post Hardcore act Napoleon. They have just released a brand new EP "Dear God" based on his personal experiences of seeing people in his life use their religious beliefs for evil. Beyond hearing how the band came to be and the evolution of their sound, Jon explains how he felt vulnerable taking this direction with their latest project and almost rewrote all the lyrics. This story is a true example of how projecting your truth and sticking to what's in your heart can unexpectedly connect with people who may not have the voice to do so themselves.

STS always made the music they wanted to make, and we learn through Juha's spirit that keeping true to yourself can withstand the test of times despite ever changing trends and closed minded critics. We also hear about the music writing process leading up to their latest upcoming album release "Shining" which opened up the topics on the affects on ones mental health, using the source of real life pain into your artistic expression, and how if he took the approach of their previous album (Moonflowers) that "He would have blown his brains out". We appreciate Juha for being an absolute open book to us in this conversation and around what we explained, this chat isn't all doom and gloom and filled with many moments of laughter and inspiration from the Swallow The Sun journey.

Both are a well of knowledge who wear so many hats, and even Stu's voice has spanned across almost every cartoon that aired throughout our childhood (Magic School Bus, My Pet Monster, Babar, Cryptkeeper, The Tick, Beetlejuice, Rupert ... and I would actually break my hand if I tried to type all of them out right now).

Today we are joined with Tribulation's founding member Adam Zaars to get some insight on their 20 year legacy as a band and their brand new album "Sub Rosa In Æternum" that dropped this past week. We personally think the album is a modern goth-rock/metal masterpiece and thoroughly geeked out hearing the influence and story behind them taking a different direction towards their latest work. Truly an ever evolving group and Adam leaves us with advice for any aspiring bands and musicians.
