The Vedantic OM is worth looking up if you don't know what it is. Musicians and poets may find of interest that we can express ALL emotions through its M-m-m sound and that it is also the sound from which Creation (with the will to consciousness) sprang out of the Ocean of unconscious being. The Fairport gig described certainly threatened to bring us a lot nearer our Maker and someone aptly reviewed it as occurring 'in' the North Sea.

The OM of Cromer

The lyric dates from 1979 and our first summer together when we were both employed by Walls Ice Cream supplying the Yarmouth seafront. A few extra lines came to me one hot summer day 42 years later on another North Norfolk beach.
