🚨 Bien le bonjour et welcome sur Leaks, le podcast qui analyse les stratégies publicitaires de marques, médias et politiques grâce à la sémiologie. Tout d’abord je tiens à te partager mes voeux pour 2022 et j’ai préparé une petite action pour l’occasion mais 🤫 Par ailleurs, on se retrouve avec le 1er épisode de l’année au côté de Aude Legré, directrice des stratégies au sein de l’agence de communication Rebellion afin de parler d’identité, de féminité et de masculinité dans la publicité dans une ère post me too ou la notion même de genre évolue. 

🧐 Dans une ère où la parole se libère de plus en plus et l’image se délisse un petit peu laissant apparaitre des parties du corps auparavant discriminées, les marques prennent le pli jusqu’à pour certaines affirmer des engagements hypocrites et infondés. La notion de genre est alors questionnée, le trop féminin dénoncé, le trop masculin valorisé, le féminisme utilisé à des fins marketings et la pression d’inclure tous les corps reste toujours plus forte. Le secteur de la publicité semble se déconstruire pour mieux se reconstruire mais devons-nous alors repenser les méthodologies historiques de segmentation/ ciblage, principalement spécifié par l’âge, le genre et CSP (catégories socio professionnelles) afin de favoriser l’identification et embrasser les attentes d’inclusivité ? La ménagère de -50ans existe t-elle encore ? Est-il possible de vendre des sous-vêtements sans sexualiser les corps ? Le moche est-il le nouveau beau ? Comment toucher cet Homo Narcissus nourrit aux vanity metrics ? Comment le féminin et le masculin se construisent-ils dans le discours publicitaire ? Allons-nous tendre vers la neutralité (= gender neutrality) ?
