And all these things combined just make me feel some type of way

It can be difficult to smile sometimes 
All the sad things in the world discourage my heart 
I don’t like to say that I’m ok when I’m not 
I’d be lying to myself if I said otherwise 
But at the same time some people look up to me
I don’t want them to be sad I want them to see the many reasons to live 
God’s waiting for you and me
I know that it can be hard, but I gotta try my best for you 

I would be lying if I said that I’m perfect, everyday I go through struggles that I have to face
But I don’t think I’m in a position to complain with all of the blessings that have come my way
I get frustrated when I see kids ungrateful with food on the table and a roof to stay
This generation needs to stop being ungrateful and find ways to make somebody’s day, cause
