More for my own listening pleasure, really: a self-generating patch using some of my favourite techniques and just left to run and run.

Eurorack-modular-synth only, no external sequencing or processing, bar a healthy amount of modified "Echospace of God" reverb from my Eventide Space pedal.

The EP is composed of three self-generating works based on (roughly) the same Eurorack modular-synth patch. Minor adjustments were made in between recordings, with little or no intervention during recording. No computers or external sequencers or processors were used, bar some reverb from an Eventide Space guitar pedal.

Not really a track, more the first patch I made with my new ADDAC Intuitive Quantiser. Great module - I highly recommend it!

Another 100% generative modular-synth patch (bar some Eventide Reverb), no human intervention.

Beltway 2024

I've really been amazed by Todd Barton's Krell patch and I've made a few attempts at translating it to the eurorack format. But I haven't been totally satisfied with the results. I took a break from exploring this patch and revisited it with a new and fresh approach. I'm pretty satisfied with this recording andI plan on leaving the patch up for a few days and record some videos and write the patch down for future development. 
I hope you enjoy this analog soundtrack to the mythical movies of my mind. Ohm

Destination Self 01

I've been sitting on this one for a couple of days, as it sounds a bit... flat to me and I've overdone it on the panning. But I think there are some nice tones and textures, plus I haven't posted anything for a while...

As usual, 100% eurorack modular synth, no external processing, sequencing or editing. The sequence is also self-generating, no human intervention.

Antares is a dark and atmospheric, break heavy Jungle project by Josh Stotz.  Conceived in January of 2019, as the Illicit project was put to bed, influenced by darker cinematic landscapes and ambient works.  Part of Ballpark Recordings, Force Recordings, Cause 4 Concern LTD, Hangry Records, Suicide Audio, Monkey Business, Locked Up Music and always more in the works.  Older releases under the Illicit name can be found on Ruffah Ras Records, Mos-Hi, Top Ranking Records, Nuff Stylez (France), and Hum-Fi Drum Digital.  Antares aims to bring a darker cinematic soundscape to modern Jungle.
