Sharing The Vibe Special 2nd Birthday Set by Don Juan Mezcal

The sound of desert blues has been a major influence on my musical taste since I first came into contact with it in my early teenage years. The expression of the culture of the traditionally nomadic people of the Sahara region is a beautiful blend of many different styles that speak to my soul. 

In this ecstatic desert dance mix, I've compiled some of the original gems and many great edits from some of my favorite producers. The second anniversary of the FB group "Sharing the Vibe" is a perfect opportunity to share these amazing grooves with a fine heart community who appreciate these treasures as much as I do. This is also a Set for Ofir - Magic Vibes - a DJ from Israel who I am friends with since a few years. He created an amazing group: Sharing the vibe - where Ecstatic Dances and Downtempo Music is shared as Medicine. Some of my favorite DJs - such as J. Pool, Spiritito, Yonder, Apukuna or Don Juan Mezcal - are part of it and share their music sets & medicine there.

Now is the 2nd Birthday (2 Years Vibes-sharing) and we want to celebrate this. I dedication of this and the whole family, network and movement behind this group and all over the world I recorded this set. And I share it with you in honor and gratitude.

I am Piti Lion, 26, a DJ and musician from a small village in Germany, who traveled around the world, started to sing, playing the guitar and djing especially World, Medicine & Downtempo Music with a wide range of different musical styles and genres, cultures and languages in the music. 'Music is Medicine' - under this slogan Piti Lion has recorded and played music on many festivals in Germany, New Zealand, France, Israel, Egypt and Australia. 
With his collective & friends of the Colourful Tribe he organized and played on festivals, ecstatic dances, opened cacao & tribal ceremonies and leaded shamanic yoga dances for hundreds of people. the new medicine & its movement is rising with them.

Eve Lyn is a Zurich-based DJ navigating the space between emotive downtempo and driving midtempo. Her sets are story-driven and deeply textured – weaving groove, playfulness and tension into journeys that connect body and mind.

With her, it’s a deeply emotional rollercoaster ride – moving through the full spectrum of feeling, from tender introspection to sweaty release. She adapts her sound to the space – always tuned into atmosphere and intention, building soundtracks for moments that matter.

A regular at clubs like Lush and Kauz in Zurich, she also brings her sound to rooftops, galleries, festivals and multidisciplinary spaces.

As a resident at Octo Records and contributor to Slomosensual, Eve Lyn has performed across Switzerland, Italy, Germany and beyond – inviting dancers into a space of presence, pulse and poetic motion.
