In anticipation of Neptunian Influence's 6th annual Detroit brunch during Movement, we're thrilled to present a mix by one of last year's celestial gathering lead navigators, Paul Fleetwood! The Perimeter Junk label boss and @hot-mass co-founder has prepared a deep, ethereal and raw soundscape for the heart of the storm, which is where he took us on that glorious day nearly one year ago. The mix features selections from his excellent PJ label and even a few tracks from this year's party navigators, @shawn-rudiman and @fdbeardd. We want those far and wide to feel the Detroit daydream with us. Either in reality or illusion, let's meet in the Great Dark Spot <3

Is it reality or is it an illusion? With Neptune, it is hard to tell. Neptune's influence reaches further than the ordinary senses, so there may be aspects of extrasensory perception at work. Illusion, fantasy and dreams are the playing field here, and the spirit is the primary force. Leading to all things mysterious, Neptune's watery depths are associated with dreams, visions, and the imagination.

Oldschool Death Metal & Grindcore - enthusiast since the very beginning, Ambient, Drum´n Bass, Detroit Techno, Electro, Oldschool Breaks, Braindance, Acid, EBM + Industrial and many other good stuff that blows my mind ;)

In all those past years i had the honour playing gigs in some top Clubs or events like Oz-Club (Stuttgart) , Prag Club (Stuttgart), Ultraschall (Munich), Tresor (Berlin), Club 8.Mai (Chemnitz) ,Lehmann Club (Stuttgart) or Rhythm Factory (London), Loveparade 2000 (Berlin) and in additional i was for a while part of a weekly Electro-Show at the legendary Evosonic Radio in Munich.

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.
