Texas South Plains cattle ranchers are working their animals right now but also making certain their livestock have plenty of feed, water and shelter from the very cold winter temperatures in this region of the state.

During the winter months, it is important to have ample water available for cattle in addition to extra feed for the animals.  Cattle need more energy to stay warm in the winter cold temperatures.
