Another day, another orchestral Re-Score to practice!

It took me 8 days of work to compose and orchestrate this, and the next goal is to reach 3-5 days...

After coming up with themes for the Bird and the Sprites:

1° - I found the tempo of the first part, until the running scene, I paid attention to how the characters were walking, their actions, and what was happening. 

2° - In the running part, I increased the tempo, to have a more effective desperate feeling. And when she finally escaped, I decreased the tempo to the original one, providing a relief sensation. 

3° - Planing the sheet music, I could fit the hitpoints by adapting the time signatures, for the themes as well, and the craft later was like putting together a music puzzle.

OBS 1: 
There are so many keys, time signature changes, different textures in orchestration, and modes, to give different emotions for the situations. 

OBS2: 
The most difficult part was the desperate run, which is always a challenge, with so many hitpoints and orchestral effects.

OBS 3:
3 things I paid attention to: 

1° When to increase the instrumentation or not 

2° How to connect musical ideas between parts so it would be smoother

3° Reminding the themes using instrumentation, a mode, a chord progression, or even the melody and its variations

OBS 4:

Themes in a really short movie: you won't remember it if you are not listening to it again and again like in a movie situation, for 1 hour and a half at least...so, the instrumentation and moods are the main goals here, they're trying to remind you of it in the first listening!

Memory of Fury and Death - Short Movie

I'm a musician/composer/arranger, i love the music in its several different forms.
I've practiced classical and jazz studies, graduated with honors in jazz music at the "G. Tartini" Conservatory of Trieste.
I'm active in various projects from electro to jazz and folk, like musician and arranger, i also compose soundtracks in collaboration with Lucide association based in Gorizia.

Plus d’une dizaine de projets ont suivi ​(court, animation, documentaire, long...), avec notamment une ​première mention spéciale « Original Score » reçue à l’AIMAFF.

L’approche de Martin Nowacki conjugue curiosité, ​enthousiasme, professionnalisme, et exploration constante de ​couleurs et textures propres à chaque projet qui lui est confié.
