Who is The Man staring at Jim? Will Bill solve the mystery? What secrets does The Barmaid hold?


Bill meets his friend Jim at their favorite local pub for their weekly drink. However, when Bill arrives, he notices Jim acting strangely. Bill discovers that Jim is being stared at by an unusual man. Jim explains that others who sit on the same stool as him describe the stranger as behaving comparably - yet don't seem bothered. Bill decides to help end his friend's troubles and solve the mystery of The Man.

فى بقعة بعيدة فى الظلام 
كانت تتكئ على أجنحتها المكسورة 
كانت لاتزال العنقاء 
العنقاء التى كان ينظر لها الجميع برهبة 
بإحترام 
بإستغراب 
وهم يهمسون كيف نجت من كل هذا 
ولكنها لم تنجو 
لقد فقط استمرت 
فقط استمرت ليوم اخر كل يوم
لقد فقدت ابنتها 
رأتها وهى ترحل عن هذه الحياة 
ولم تستطع إنقاذها 
شاهدت شريكها يتخلى عنها 
ولم تستطع جعله يبقى رغم تمسكها به
لقد فقدت ماهيتها كعنقاء 
فقدت كل شئ 
وسقطت
سقطت فى غياهب الظلام
لم تستطع التنفس 
كانت تعانى من نوبات الهلع
فقدت ريشها الغزير
فقدت بريق عيونها 
فقدت
رغبتها 
فى النجاة
فقط استمرت 
وعادت
عادت بعد إحراق رمادها نفسه 
عادت من اللاشئ 
مرة 
تلو المرة 
اندهش البعض 
لم يفهم البعض كيف عادت 
صفق البعض 
ولكن 
ولكنها لم تعود كالعنقاء التى اعتادت عليها
فى كل مرة كانت تعود
كانت تفقد شئ 
تخسر شئ 
حتى 
حتى فقدت نفسها 
فقدت روحها فى الرحلة
فى وسط النهار 
سقطت
و فى الظلام 
ولدت من جديد
لتشعر بما خسرته يُثقل على روحها لحظة بلحظة
مافقدته كان لابد أن يُشعرها بالحرية 
ولكن مافقدته جعلها تشعر بالعبودية
فهاهى عادت من الرماد 
ولكن من أجل ماذا 
من أجل أن تعيش خسارتها يوماً بيوم
فيما جائت و متى ستذهب 
داخل المقصلة
يولد الجميع 
ينتظروا فقط الميعاد
لكى تنتهى هذه المهزلة
الجميع لايراها مهزلة
هناك من يراها فرصة
هناك من يشعر بها نعمة
هناك من يحس بها سباق 
ولكنها للبعض ليست الا مهزلة
مهزلة بدايتها المقصلة 
ونهايتها المقصلة
وبين البداية و النهاية 
تعيش 
تعيش على حافة المقصلة 
منتظراً نزولها على عنقك
ولكن بالنسبة للعنقاء
لم تكن المقصلة يوماً على عنقها 
لقد تركت عنقها على حافة المقصلة
ليُنهى على هذا الجسد 
مرة واحدة أخيرة
ولكن
المقصلة لم تسقط و تُنهى كل شئ 
لقد أنهت بالفعل على كل شئ فى حياة العنقاء
ماعدا هى 
تركتها تعيش كل هذا 
لقد أزالت ريشها 
بترت أطرافها 
أعمت عيونها 
جعلتها تعيش داخل نومها بنوبات هلع تتشارك كوابيسها عن من سيمزقها أكثر فى فى نومها
لقد مزقت كل شئ بها
إلى ان لم يتبق داخل روحها شئ للتمزيق
بدون دموع
تتركها 
بجسد شامخ و 
وروح جاثية
لقد عادت العنقاء
عادت من رماد الرماد
ولدت من رحم الموت
ميتة

Film and  Multimedia Composer — New York
Award-winning composer René Verón has scored for all genres of film, including for features and shorts, dramas and documentaries. He has worked with the outstanding director Ram Devineni on several of his films, including Parvati Saves the World, The Hydra and The Karma Killings; he has composed the music for dozens of nationally-released commercials, including for Verizon, Amnesty International, and McDonald’s.

René is also a seasoned music producer, having been at the helm of a number of albums. He also boasts a successful career as a voice over artist, working on many ad campaigns, as well as hundreds of audiobooks. 

René holds multiple degrees in music, including a masters in composition from Duquesne University, as well as others in the fields of ethnomusicology, technology and music education. 

Originally from Chile, René resides in New York City, with his wife and two young children.
