In 2019, I attended the Let It Roll Festival, an event that left a deep mark on my life. During the party, there was a moment when a particular track got stuck in my head; the groove, the bassline... everything about that song impacted me in a way I had never experienced before. When I returned from the festival, that inspiration turned into pure creativity, and that's how "Astrea" was born.

🎉 Rolling Hour #01 🎶

This session is the first part of a very special set I prepared for my friend Masvi's 30th birthday. I wanted to give him a unique gift while also introducing my friends to Drum & Bass in a pleasant and accessible way.

I knew that many of them are fans of urban sounds, but they're not familiar with this scene. So, I designed this hour as a bridge between those genres, filled with melodic content, smooth rhythms, and a vibe that connects with what they already enjoy, while exploring the landscapes of Drum & Bass.

I hope this session not only celebrates Masvi's birthday but also serves as a gateway for everyone who has yet to discover the magic of DnB. 🎂✨

Rolling Hour #01 // Special SUPERDALE Masvi's 30th Party!

SIBELIUM was founded in 2009 in Barcelona by Max and Guiliem, two producers with a deep passion for electronic music. They began by mixing vinyl and playing Frenchcore, Hardtek, and Drum'n'Bass at free parties around Catalonia. Over time, they invested in a small sound system to host their own events, further fueling their love for music.

By late 2011, they decided to shift their focus towards producing music. Max was the first to dive into software and sequencers, and soon after, Guiliem joined in, drawing on his background in drums, clarinet, and piano.

In 2012, they decided to take their music careers more seriously, aiming to deepen their understanding of music production and everything that comes with it. Since then, SIBELIUM has evolved into a significant project that explores the most experimental sides of Bass Culture.

Today, the project is led by Guiliem Sibelium, who continues to push the boundaries of the genre, creating unique tracks as a solo artist as well.
