HOLA! This is a live set I played out for a wedding after Party for Chad and Amie Pounds wedding on Septemeber 24th, 2022! It is a bit of a side route from my usual deeper dives on a more hype side of things. If you are familiar with Excision "Detox" sets where he plays a different flow of music than his usual full senders. Well this is the opposite for me! My INTOX set is full of bangers I do enjoy but don't know if they would exactly fit in a Vassvee style set and for the occasion I said fuck it. It's LIT might as well send it! I present to you. Vassvee's Late Night Ghetto Smoke

It all started with an exclusive gathering in Southern Oregon 2022. It was the end of daylight savings time and the clocks were going back an hour at 2am. Was not a public event but we invited all the most exclusive fam and close friends that we trust and vibed with at shows/festivals and through mutual friends and family. We all pulled together to created of the most amazing small time gatherings we could ask for. Channeling all my past festival experiences and my love for bass music with the mental boost of Psychedelics I created this wild journey what is known to be "The Portal"
 I never fully desired to play public shows but wanted to create a custom environment in a private setting for my fam to come and enjoy the bass and company of others in a safe space. Where the music journey will make more sense compared to in a venue or club. This was my favorite thing ive been able to do for my friends so far and happy to share these mixes with you.

The Portal Activation kicks off a 4 part series of mixes that will all have their own adventure.

The Portal ACTIVATION

Met and camped with new friends at the Untz Festival in California May 2024. They told me they had a collective out of Nevada City / Grass Valley named 'Earth Tones" and did monthly shows at the Elixart. Stayed connected with everyone and then bam! Was given the opportunity to play my first public show because Ive only done private shows and mountain party set in the past for close friends. I wasn't sure I would be able to take the Vassvee experience out in to a public setting but I trusted the vibe and decided to go on a Vassvee deep dive on this night and it was all a success! Nothing but big vibes all around. This was my first set out in California. Vassvee live at the Elixart. Earth Tones event 8/2/24. Enjoy the tunes! SFUF Uprising Fest 2024! I heard a lot of good things about this one. They had an open applications for artists to apply and play for their Silent Disco and I said heck yeah! Why not? So I applied and was accepted! And it was a whole vibe all weekend glad I was able to make it after having MANY public transportation fails lol This was only my 2nd public appearance (I only ever really play private events and like 2 mountain parties before) SO! This was new being on a stage. I played a INTOX SET which is the flip side to Excisions "Detox Sets" Music he enjoys but won't fit in a full send X Throw down. But me on the flip side music I enjoy but doesn't fit in my DEEP end throw downs. SO! Got a little creative with this one tried some things out and went for it! Vassvee Live @ Uprising Fest 24 Silent Disco. INTOX SET

November 5th 2022. The end of daylight savings time. At 2am the clocks went back 1 hour. I had this wild idea that was brewing for awhile that I wanted to play a set that really captures my love for deep end bass music in a room with all my close fam and friends that I’ve been going to festivals with and we all love the same kind of music. It was during Shambhala's comeback year after Covid I really just took in that experience and was completely inspired and wanted to bring back a slice of Shambhala to my friends. A place to be free and sauce out in a comfy place with bass music with the comforting company of our love ones. This was a private event on private property and with a solid sound system set up that a good buddy of mine owns and operates. Thus! The Portal was born! This was actually the first Portal set I ever created. The portal meltdown Idea was set to happen during the daylight savings time ending. My Set was played from 1:30am-1:30am And had some of my close homies who play music also have the opportunity to play hour sets as well and together we all charged the Portal up. AND THEN! It was up to me to go in and shut The Portal down because the Meltdown is causing time to reverse!!! The last set “The Portal Activation” Was actually a prequel to this set that I created in 2023. THIS is the first Portal show I ever played in 2022 exclusive. And it was only a 1 night event.  BUT This is considered Part 2/4 out of the Portal Mix Series.....
