Diyar, the debut release from Rayne embarks on a trip from the sun of Turkey to the winds of Berlin.

Rayne is a Berlin-based DJ and producer from Turkey. As a resident of Root Radio and DJ, she has been active in Berlin’s independent electronic music scene with her adventurous sets since 2020.  

Diyar weaves together the disparate threads of Rayne’s eclectic and ever-expanding musical world, the producer taking the same wildly inventive approach in the studio as she does on the decks. Deep pads, liquid sounds and organic percussion shape the sonic horizons of this wild EP. 

From its opening seconds Diyar is immediately as powerfully intoxicating as it is meticulously constructed and curated. Opening track “Gaze” guides us through a mysterious, otherworldly landscape, borne on the back of hypnotic polyrhythms and Rayne’s mesmerising vocals. Shifting gears on title track “Diyar”, Rayne displays her skill at blending organic and digital, weaving electronics with the haunting beauty of the cura, a traditional Anatolian string instrument. 

On “The Witch”, we find ourselves in the middle of a ritual in a mystic forest, Rayne’s ethereal vocals emerging as subtle whispers from behind each tree. Diyar’s closing track gives us a clue to understand the inspiration behind Rayne’s fantastical sonic world with field recordings captured from a starry night on a sailboat in the Aegean sea.

Perfectly rounding off the package of Rayne’s debut are two reinterpretations from GOOEY label head Siggatunez, transforming the hypnagogic originals into  club-ready floor fillers, melding Rayne’s sonic curiosity with Siggatunez signature raw attitude and masterful dancefloor chops. 

On the inspiration behind the EP, Rayne elaborates: “This is a celebration of nature and supernatural feelings, of continents and landscapes that serve as bridges. This is a celebration of those who need to leave places to come to their senses.” Diyar oozes mystical energy, it’s supernatural sonic landscape providing a temporary escape from the contemporary hellscape and a path through the darkness to the other side.

As we head into the holiday season, many of us can finally start to breathe a deep sigh of relief. We are now a year removed from the coronavirus pandemic and dancefloors around the globe are getting back into the full swing of things - welcoming many of their patrons with open arms and vaccine checks. 

Although we should not declare victory just yet, it looks like the largest disruptive force of the 21st century might be behind us.  With booster shots in hand, the next couple of months should be utilized as a time for us to relax and gradually return to our old selves. For those reading this page, that typically means getting back to our favorite clubs and venues to let loose all the pent up energy from the past several months. 

If you are looking for a soundtrack to mark this semi-return to normalcy, look no further than the latest VA from BB favorite Honey Butter Records! Titled Loosey Goose, the Swedish imprint has decided to stick to their underground roots with a record featuring some of the brightest rising stars from the scene today. The 6-track compilation includes new music from the likes of Rafael Cancian, Fidde, Sam Paradise, HATT.D, and Max Telaer - all close friends and collaborators of the label’s Head Honcho Emil Sunessson. 

The song we are fortunate to share with you today comes from Berlin-based maestro Siggatunez and goes by the name “Day of My Life.” From its airy assortment of strings to its complementary mix of soulful vocal samples, this track embodies the sort of joy many of us are feeling at the moment - as we get to resume the lives we had before 2020. Certainly a tune DJs will salivate to play at the start of their sets, “Day of My LIfe” contains a mood-setting arrangement of melodies that signal to its listeners the best is yet to come!

Blur Records returns to present the longtime DJ, producer and vinyl digger - Boryn - and his EP entitled "Just Another Love" featuring remixes by artists Hotmood, DJ Merci and Siggatunez.

Known for his characteristic sound rooted in jazz, he drifts between danceable disco and tropical house, including african drums and fabulous electronics from the balearic shelf.

The opening track "Just Another Love", is immediately recognized by its eighties synthesizing technique, lofi pacey drums, driving rolling bass, in one well-accomplished composition of quintessential house.

Next, we have the remix of Hotmood, with a wonderful reinterpretation of the original, featuring dreamy deep chords and subtle percussive passages, with more disco-oriented details which are a characteristic sound of the producer.

The third track on this release is the remix of Siggatunez, known for his refined taste and remixing techniques, he delivers a fresh crafter groove, incorporating heavy-footed drums and complex sampling work, in a stunning reinterpretation while staying true to the original.

Last but not least, we have the remix of DJ Merci, in which he develops expansive drum work on the original, with an elaborated bassline and a trademark chord synthesizer, closing a distinctly yet rich package making it an absolute banger of a release.

Born and raised in Munich (Germany), 6th floor, left door; father german, mother polish, 1 younger sister. With an incredible rich background of different styles of music, Daniela has created a personal style that defines her sound. Her sets and productions expand the boundaries of understanding house and techno music to new horizons, proving her uncompromising diversity on the dancefloor.

In 2010 Danielas piece "EllE Routine" won a "QWARTZ 6 Electronic Music Award" in Paris, FR among artists as Alejandro Jodorowsky, Laurie Anderson, Gudrun Gut, and more.

"Did You Ever" was in 2016 featured as closing track on https://soundcloud.com/moodymann313 ´s DJ mix for "DJ Kicks".
Starting with her very first release, Daniela´s productions made it into the record bags of high profile DJ´s such as Sven Väth, Laurent Garnier, tINI, Solomun and many others. In 2015 "Feel The Future" was featured on tINI´s DJ mix for Cocoon Ibiza.

Next to performing live & producing, Daniela was co-running "Parallel Berlin" for 11 years, as A&R, management, events, merch, record label and PR.

Klaus Benedek grew up in a small town near Vienna. His interest in electronic music began during the 90s techno hype. He spent hours watching video clips on MTV and viva and thus gaining knowledge about electronic music. In 2004, he began teaching himself to produce. Gathering his inspiration wherever he could, he began collecting 12" vinyl records the same year and 2 years later got his first dj-gigs. From 2008 till 2010 he was one of the resident DJs at the MNML Thursdays in the Camera Club. In 2012 he started with Alex Kolodziej the event-series Tellerbetrieb. Currently he finds most of his inspiration in Chicago House, Deep House, Disco and Breakbeat. After releases on labels like Petrol Dollar, Subversaal, rekooda, Soul Shift Music, Clean and Dirty Recordings and tanzbar, Klaus launched his own label forTunea in 2014.
