It's me being tired of the world. The song is kind of mocking how society looks at routine and humans. It's about how people look down on others not knowing what they're going through. On the contradictory it's about how someone needs this type of "saviour" instead of being one for themselves. Which I think is cruel and keeps this wheel of hate going. The Silver Lining - The Slosh Poppies

A song about a relationship that had real high hopes but quickly went to nothing.

High Hopes

It's an absolute honour and privilege to be given the chance to release this beautiful collection of tracks with so many collaborators involved in the process. A uniquely 3LP compiled by @silverlining-dubs & yours truly. A testament to an unbelievable group of friends that were following their heart in the studio.. This compilation just catches a glimpse of the vast amount of (un)released sonic wizardry with one person that ties all these tracks together; Asad Rizvi.

The triple vinyl LP includes some hard-to-find numbers by Two Right Wrongans, Impossible Beings, Appleheadz, and more, with one previously unreleased song rescued from DAT archives. The album was mastered beautifully by Dubplates & Mastering , the sleeve features stunning artwork by Drawn Surface, Wimswim and Nol Cobben, with extensive sleeve notes by Harold Heath and Asad himself.

The 'Collaborations 3LP' album will have 500 initial copies pressed and is out 6th of September at your fav recordstore. Silverlining will also be publishing the digital downloads on his Bandcamp later on.

Asad Rizvi aka Silverlining has been a constant source of inspiration to me since the 90s - his solo releases & remixes, along with various monikers alongside other brilliant artists, such as Two Right Wrongans with Nathan Coles, have featured in my sets for almost three decades. This mix covers a broad range of his work, recorded in one take all one vinyl, aside from his remix of me which is forthcoming on my Dragon Parade label. That one was burned to CD & played via my old CDJ100! The vinyl for that release will be ready later this year.
