simo not simon is a talented and rising DJ and producer from Rio de Janeiro who started experimenting with music early on as part of a band, sparking his passion for the endless possibilities of electronic music. While studying, he spent time in Berlin and California, where he connected with John Tejada, who became his mentor. Once back in Rio, he dove into the local scene, co-founding the Coletivo Pirajá and launching his label, Clover Records. His debut on Alaplay is a celebration of the musical identity he’s been shaping over the years, blending House Music with fresh and nostalgic elements, all wrapped in a touch of romance.
