I’ve swallowed the words, they were starting to rot

'Same Page' is one of my favourite songs that I've written. I feel I managed to capture my love for rhythm and jazzy syncopation in it.

This song is about times when you might feel you're not aligning with your partner and differences in your approaches/schedules start showing. Yet amidst all this, you are so sure of how you feel about them and you are seeking reassurance that you're on the 'same page' and that things will be okay.
