Music is meant to invoke thought, not unlike art, politics, and religion. However, because of the emotional ties that the individual has with different types of music, or certain compositions, we as humans are drawn to certain sounds and textures (each depending on our own likes and dislikes). When we as children listen to music, we imagine a whole world that opens up around us, like a magical forest with dancing trees, or we use it for an adventure for our toys to play in. When we "grow up" (as society calls it), we unfortunately grow out of these practices. We loose our playtime and recess. We start working and paying bills and taking medication. My goal, both as a musician and as a Toy Soldier, is to help everyone that hears my music wake up their imaginations.
