Initial and ambitious idea behind this live set was …

Questioning realities – questioning your own reality and your position in reality. How do our perceptions define reality? What reality do we share and is another reality able to teach us things from empathy to fear? What idea of a perception does one have, which feelings about it and do we share these or do they differ?

Taking a tragically common and known sound recorded in an environment where it doesn’t cause stress and discomfort, but is also on the rise and putting it into disrupted context to question this sound and the reality it was recorded in. Can we feel what someone feels for whom that sound is a threat? Can we try to understand that feeling and not only pretend to have the same reality and share the weight? 
Taking the shared and same sound, but from a different reality.

Questioning privilege and discovering different realities at the same time with recording a threatening sound while being safe and putting it in a distressing, meandering set – so maybe we can learn what discomfort and threat mean and develop some empathy out of it – to understand, to care, to be more open, to step down from our imaginative throne and be open and willing to learn from everyone experiencing trauma, disruption, fear and displacement. Artificial distress to care again. A siren to western society.

When we first heard Ludwig Göransson’s “Sirens”, there was something in its tension, emotion and atmosphere that we couldn’t let go of.

We wanted to hold on to that feeling, but let it grow into something of our own — somewhere between a cinematic world and the energy of electronic music.

This is our reinterpretation of “Siren” from The Odyssey.

Japanese Hardtechno, Schranz DJ and composer TKG.
He began producing music in 2017, inspired by rhythm games, and founded the independent music circle Dashimaki Records.

Drawn to the heavy grooves and raw energy of Hardtechno and Schranz, he produces both original tracks and arrangements of Touhou Project and classic video game music. In 2019, he expanded into DJing, and in 2025 performed at THE DAY OF HARDCORE.

His DJ style is characterized by intense, immersive sets that showcase the aggressive power and unique atmosphere of Schranz, bringing its energy to audiences both in Japan and abroad.

As a producer, TKG has contributed original music to the mobile rhythm games Lanota and Dynamix, and has also had a Schranz remix officially featured in a rhythm game project by Vanilla.

His music has been released on international Hardtechno labels including Audiocode, Sonaxx Records, and Cause Records, continuing to expand his presence within the global Hardtechno and Schranz scene.

𝕵𝖆𝖞 is a DJ and solo project based in Cologne, Germany. 
It is about playing and curating music and just self producing and releasing music in any way, whenever it comes up and just having an output.

Also behind 𝖉𝖆𝖗𝖖𝖚𝖊 for events, releases and so on – as well as part of the séances sonores concert series and the dublab DE team.
