‘And Then I Think About You’ is a song written about how growing up and having different responsibilities and priorities in your life can affect how you experience what should be a joyous and carefree occasion. It’s a song about being in a strange headspace - a headspace where you feel guilty about enjoying yourself.

Specifically, it’s a song written about songwriter Paul’s experiences at the 2017 Meredith Music Festival. What was different about this Meredith? It was the first time leaving his wife and 9 month old child at home so that he could partake in a wild weekend of music, drinking and debauchery.
