‘[really poetic name]’ drifts between lofi ambience and slowcore melancholy — a quiet space built from dusty textures, detuned warmth, and late-night introspection. It’s that moment between sleep and memory, where every echo feels personal. Produced by Urbex, this track sits somewhere between the underground and the infinite — raw, minimal, and intentionally imperfect  yet so perfect.

iiis are a 3 piece from Oxford, UK and released their debut EP in October 2024. Mixing Shoegaze, Slowcore and wider alt rock influences, vocal harmonies intertwine over shimmering melodies, often broken and frayed at the edges, pulling in influences such as Galaxie 500, My Bloody Valentine, Bardo Pond, Yo La Tengo and Low.

Urbex is a producer shaping emotion through slowcore and lofi sound design. His music drifts between melancholy and calm — textured beats, washed-out ambience, and low-end warmth that lingers long after the track ends. Drawing inspiration from isolation, late-night cityscapes, and raw human moments, Urbex crafts soundscapes built to be felt more than heard.                                                                      Urbex approaches sound like a form of architecture: shaping silence, reverb, and distortion into structures of feeling. Beyond the music, he occasionally shares free downloads, samples, and stems — offering glimpses into his workflow and sound design approach. A quiet but growing voice in the underground scene.

BASED IN THE NORTH-WEST PART OF ENGLAND IN A SMALL INDUSTRIAL TOWN OF ENGLAND CALLED WIDNES JOHN IS INFLUNCED BY A WIDE ARRAY OF ARTISTS FROM FOLK-AMERICANA TO INDIE AND ROCK. COMPARISONS HAVE INCLUDED THE SMITHS, NEIL YOUNG, BELLE AND SEBASTIAN AND THE DIVINE COMEDY AMONGST OTHERS.
THE FORGOTTEN COWBOY HAS RECEIVED SOME GREAT REVIEWS ESPECIALLY FROM THE NORTH-WEST FANZINE SCENE AND CONTINUES TO WRITE QUITE PROLIFICALLY.HE IS ALSO THE GUITARIST/WRITER FOR PUNK ROCK`N`ROLL BAND THE GENTLE SCARS.
