Sometimes it is easy to accept and sometimes it takes years before we can admit to ourselves that we are like our parents in parts, whether we like it or not. Of course, the willingness to acknowledge this depends on whether these characteristics are good or not. 
I have known for many years that I carry some very unattractive aspects of my father within me, but I still struggle to accept this as part of me. For some time now, I have at least been able to see that I have also inherited many positive qualities from him. My daily goal is to endure this ambivalence.
As I am currently reflecting more on this phenomenon, talking about it with others and thinking about it a lot, I wanted to write a song about it.

The structure of the song represents the development of a person and the increasing complexity of each individual. The beat is written in a single but not so typical 12/8-time signature, again I see beautiful similes in relation to the human being. The slow, steady, electronic slow drifting rhythm underlines and supports the continuity and return of our development. I imagine the break and the reset of the theme here as the birth of a new generation, with which a new beginning is imminent, new character components are added, others are discarded, but much is still similar.
