Um das große Finale der Festivalsaison gebührend zu feiern sind lauter Herzensmenschen auf der mystischen Insel zusammengekommen. Nach einer der schönsten & intensivsten Nächte meines Lebens bin ich Sonntag Mittag in den sonnigen Freaky Forest geschlendert. Und dann hab ich mich getraut einfach mal zu zocken was mich grade am meisten bewegt. Ohne darüber nachzudenken wie das wohl ankommt, egal was von mir erwartet wird, egal wie gut die Vibes zueinander passen, egal wieviele Tracks zum mitsingen nacheinander kommen. Und es war ein Riesen Spaß diese bunte Tüte mit euch zu genießen. Ich bin lange nichtmehr so befreit und voller Freude durch die Booth gehüpft. Ihr strahlenden Tanzmäuse wart ein Traum✨
Ich hoffe ich vergesse nie wie ihr mit Händen in der Luft, zwischen Nebel und von der Sonne geküsst, mitsingend durch den freaky Forest hüpft 💜

To celebrate the big finale of the festival season in style, a whole bunch of people close to my heart came together on the mystical island. After one of the most beautiful & intense nights of my life, I strolled into the sunny Freaky Forest on Sunday lunchtime. And then I dared to just play what moved me the most at the moment. Without thinking about how it would be received, no matter what was expected of me, no matter how well the vibes matched, no matter how many tracks to sing along to. And it was great fun to enjoy this colorful mix with you. It's been a long time since I've bounced so freely and joyfully through the booth. You glowing dancing mice were a dream✨
I hope I never forget how you jumped through the freaky forest with your hands in the air, between the fog and kissed by the sun, singing along 💜

On October 30th, the day has finally arrived for us to present the new EP from thea & schtu. We’ve been big fans of their sound for a while, which makes us all the more excited that this EP has come together.

The two original tracks showcase the duo’s impressive range of musical styles. The title track, "Odyssee," is marked by a deep melody and signature synth elements, while the second track, "No, What?" stands out with its groovier touches, yet remains unmistakably true to the distinctive style of thea & schtu.

The originals are complemented by equally diverse remixes from our friends Laaar, Samaha, and Sydka. We’re very pleased with the result and would like to thank all the artists involved, as well as Haunted Water and Iorie for the mastering, and Kilian Van de Water for the striking artwork.

Das Konzeptalbum nimmt uns mit auf eine Zeitreise durch Judith Ahrends Leben: „An diese Orte bin ich gegangen, um Atmosphären- Fezen aus anderer Zeit einzufangen.“
Beginnend mit dem Kindheitsdorf Hollenstedt, verspielter Leichtigkeit und dem Gefühl von Verbundenheit und Stärke, kommt mit 15 der Umzug nach Kleinmachnow. Etwas bricht. Die Autobahn rauscht ruhig als Hintergrundkulisse und verwebt sich mit dem Wind in den Kiefern. So geht es weiter: Ein Jahr in Seattle, die Studienzeit in Hannover, im Kämmerlein allein mit Blick an die Decke. In Berlin leben und in Luckenwalde schlafen, wenn der Nachti gallt. Als letztes spiegelt der Track „HERE“ einen inneren Ort, abgelöst von Raum und Zeit. Ein Zuhause.
Zu jedem Song ist ein Bild entstanden, 80x80, mit Acryl, Tusche und andern Stiften gemalt. Die Kuh hat es bis aufs Cover geschafft, sie gehört zu Hollenstedt.
