SMIFF kicks off 2024 with his new EP ‘BANG!’ This new release from SMIFF showcases a new direction, making more stripped-back dance floor oriented music, incorporating elements of techno, UK Techno and sound system influences. 

The EP has gathered early support from the likes of Chloé Robinson, Sherelle, Jason Code, Freshta, Burna & Crazed (BR) as well as plays on Rinse FM.

Alarm of The Lizard – A cold-blooded club tool. Imperative sirens cut through hard drum percussion, while Baltimore-style vocal fragments add grit and immediacy. Dramatic, groove-focussed, and full of raptorial energy.

Gold Brew
A potent brew of heavy bass-weight with a breakbeat backbone and undulating low-end drone that crescendos into a FlightFM-style, free falling monster. Straightforward and brutal, it’s a headsy switch-up whose subtle approach, detonates mid-set with control and sophistication.

WhistleCore
A high-octane percussive stampede that's both playful and functional. Rolling drums and claps ratchet the tension before a carnival whistle locks the groove breaking into a militant procession that sparked realtime conga lines during a Madam X livestream in Tokyo. Dembow inflections and dancefloor plot-twists = maximum body movement.
