Beyond the unknown

This is the 'flood.' The 'calm' of the previous track breaks, and the 'memory' bursts open. The Cello 'steps through the door' and is met by a 'cascading' flood of celestial Kalimba notes. This is the 'Atlas of Whispers'—a beatless, timeless, and soaring 'vision.' The Cello's voice is at its most passionate, a pure, orchestral catharsis. Then, the 'vision' completes. The beat returns, and the 'self' (the 'Persist' theme) is 'transformed,' fused with the memory's power. This is not just a climax; it is a 'transformation.

The Flood

“WAGMI” is a soaring, mid-tempo alt-rock anthem built on driving drums, cinematic synths, and a powerful wall of guitars that push the track forward with purpose. The vocals deliver a gritty, determined performance that blends vulnerability with resolve, rising into a hook that feels like a rallying cry. With its blend of rock intensity and atmospheric electronic elements, the song carries a triumphant, upward momentum—capturing themes of perseverance, unity, and pushing through doubt. It is with much festive joy that we can FINALLY release this little bundle of Xmas cheese.
Massive thanks to Rose Bannister and Richard Bannister who helped put this song together around the family piano. I loved our little practices, thankyou so much for your enthusiasm, musicality and your vocals (some of which were cruelly cut). I’d forgotten how much I loved making music until we got together. I’m very excited about our next little project!
Somehow this song took four years to complete. Admittedly we’ve been VERY part time but considering we used to record four songs over a weekend, four years is a little stretchy. Partially to blame for the delay was the video. I’ve tried twice to make it work and spent a small fortune on animations but alas it’s still not right so you’ll have to imagine a nice little story about a fox.
Big thanks to Nikhil Arolker for stepping in with his violin again and to the ever patient Dave Sanderson for the constant re-records of what is clearly a midlife crisis of my own making. Also thanks to Boa Internationale who didn’t actually get to record his bass part but came to the studio for hugs and high fives.
We had indented to actually go for the Xmas number 1 spot but the amount of marketing and ‘influencing’ required to get a tune like this heard is just not something that I think I've got the energy for. It's nearly a full time job just to get one radio station onboard. Ultimately I wouldn’t really enjoy making dooky tiktok videos, wrapping presents with this music in the background (probably dressed as an Elf). Nevertheless we’re really excited to get this out there and I hope you enjoy our effort.

Floating

CYBER CHORD writes songs the way a porch light holds a night: small, steady, and impossible to ignore. I work with AI as a true co-writer, then carve the lyric by hand and shape the track in Suno. The sound leans bare and human—country roots in the soil, a little rock grain in the teeth, and a faith-lit lift that chooses hope without preaching.

These are ordinary-room hymns: rings hidden in cotton, receipt-tape strings, a dress behind rain glass, a sink that cools while you find the words. Silence is an instrument here; sometimes there’s a full bar where the house gets to breathe. If a line can’t survive a campfire and a cracked mug, it doesn’t make the song.

If you’re new, start with the heartbreakers. They don’t shout. They stay. I believe in the holiness of the everyday, and in the quiet bravery of saying the thing before “later” takes it away.

The brain child of Everyday Dolores, Mike Ulliman is an Atlanta based producer and multi-instrumentalist who writes, performs, records and mixes all of ED’s music taking a truly indie do-it-yourself approach to all things Everyday Dolores. With “Dolores” having multiple meanings in Spanish and English Ulliman tends to write about the human existence and the everyday pains we face day to day. After Ulliman’s wife tragically passed away in 2014 he quit a successful corporate career to pursue his life long passion of making music. A tribute to his late wife’s favorite flower his latest release “Sunflower” was a 5 year day in and day out labor of love and it truly shows from the opening track “Mind Thieves” which culminates in a blistering no holds barred jam to “Sweet Dreams” which ends the album as a dreamy instrumental properly wrapping up the magnificent journey the listener had unknowingly embarked. Ulliman’s strong influences by bands such as RUSH, The Police, R.E.M., PHISH, And You Know Us by the Trail of Dead, The Pixies, XTC and Jane’s Addiction can be heard on his latest career defining work “Sunflower”. Volcanoes are a Yorkshire based alternative/indie band consisting of Sam, Kev, Boa and Chris. Having already had interest from EMI, V2 and Fourteenth Floor Recordings, taking part in T4 Orange Unsigned, and having finished in the top 20 of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent contest, the boys are finally ready to release their much anticipated new single When We Melodise.

A mix between Simon and Garfunkel, Midlake, The Shins and Echo And The Bunnymen, When We Melodise is a treat for every ear and rewards more active listening than the standard indie song.

The arrangement is soft and contained yet otherworldly at the same time. By carefully interlinking the main and backing vocals and letting them flow over one another, Volcanoes combine both the familiar and the new in a very musical manner. The demonstrative use of strings pulsating confidently in the background creates an extra dimension to the open body of sound. It also compliments their soft harmonies echoing throughout the track and adding oxygen to the overall listening experience.
