The Valencian people, and many of us who have unfortunately experienced first-hand the devastation of nature in our homes, or in those of our closest relatives, have known the pros and cons of the meaning of resilience.

Industrial Complexx coordinates the release of a compilation album in which different artists and labels collaborate, such as Faith Disciplines, Soil Records, Subsist Records, HC Records, Fill-Lex Records, Unknown Pleasures Records or Banshees Records. The intention of this reference is to raise funds to help the NGO Algemesí Solidari (www.algemesisolidari.org). This is an organisation that acts directly in the towns most affected by the recent floods that hit Valencia.

This compilation will be active until this situation is resolved and the NGO, or any other, no longer needs any kind of financial support for this cause. It is an album that compiles a large amount of tracks, and with styles ranging from industrial to experimental, electronica, EBM, power electronics, dark ambient, post-punk, cold wave, dark wave...

As a Valencian project, like many of those who have contributed to this release, we feel deeply overwhelmed by all the expressions of affection received and by the willingness of many artists to support this cause, and we feel the need to help our fellow countrymen as much as possible.

PREMIERE: SMFORMA - Reality [Soil Records, Industrial Complexx]

It has been three years since Soil Records released the last edition, the fourth in this case, of their Valley of Tears series of releases. It was a fairly representative series of releases of this recording project, and in fact, we were quite surprised by the label's statement regarding this musical collection, however, we are even more surprised that the label is reviving this saga after announcing its end. Soil Records will maintain Valley of Tears as it has done up to now, with a careful selection and vinyl as the only format.

This fifth release brings together four interesting names; two consolidated projects, Crystal Geometry, who joined the Soil Records catalogue in 2019 participating in the Body Shaper EP (remixes), and the Catalan duo NX1, who participated in the commemorative album of the label's fifth anniversary in 2023. The other two artists who complete this edition are E-Bony and Parand, two artists who have been on the rise for a few years now. E-Bony, like NX1, was also involved in the label's fifth anniversary album, while Parand is the only one of the four artists to join Soil's catalogue for the first time. 

Valley of Tears 5 opens with NX1's SL2  (a nod to SL1), industrialoid techno with a punchy, concise punch, which faithfully reflects the duo's sonic character. Crystal Geometry introduces us with Haute Tension in a more rave-like environment with a fast and totally evolving techno. With Missed Connection, Parand chooses to connect electro with techno and syncopated rhythm with binary rhythm. E-bony closes the EP with Zero Point Echo, perfectly structured techno with an excellent sound design.

Premiere: Crystal Geometry - Haute Tension [Soil Records]

With her debut EP, Lumina Obscura, Carmilla Sioux bursts onto the Soil Records label with a sonic proposal that masterfully fuses the pulsating rhythms of EBM and the raw energy of Industrial Techno. This work not only demonstrates an overwhelming technical mastery but also delves into conceptual depths, exploring alchemical themes of transformation, rebirth, and the constant struggle between light and shadow.

The collaboration with Newborn Ghost adds an additional layer of intensity to the project. Their evocative lyrics and captivating vocal performance serve as a guide through this sonic journey, where each track becomes a ritual of liberation and reinvention. The emotionally charged vocals intertwine with industrial beats, creating a contrast that reflects the duality present in the EP's central theme. From the very first beat, Lumina Obscura immerses the listener in a dark and enveloping landscape, where darkness is not synonymous with despair, but rather with introspection and discovery. Moments of visceral beauty alternate with passages of searing intensity.

The album, in its cassette format, divides the four original tracks on side A, while side B houses the three versions: the two Spanish producers WLDV and Nightcrawler add an extra punch with their respective remixes, and the Colombian artist Filmmaker contributes a dose of alienation with a far more devastating and mental interpretation.

Premiere: Carmilla Sioux - The Awakening (Filmmaker Remix) [Soil Records]

Repairing the Clock stands as a titanic creative feat by Colombian producer Damaged Clock, a complete cycle of 105 interwoven tracks, forged entirely through the warmth and organic texture of analog hardware. This monumental work transcends mere musical composition to become an act of profound introspection.

The piece unfolds as an introspective odyssey, navigating a vast spectrum of electronic genres. From the atmospheric echoes of wave and the frenetic energy of drum & bass, to the industrial pulse of EBM, the hypnotic precision of techno, the rapturous ecstasy of trance, the futuristic nostalgia of synthwave, the lysergic edges of acid, and the robotic grooves of electro. Each transition is an emotional shift, an essential chapter that, together, weaves the narrative of an entire life.

Repairing the Clock also offers an abridged version on vinyl. Soil Records is releasing the first five tracks of the album in this format. This includes four major remixes by Thomas P. Heckmann, Crystal Geometry, Umwelt, and Legowelt, alongside the original track, Villanos con Corbata. Furthermore, the A-side, featuring the remixes by Thomas P. Heckmann and Crystal Geometry, leans towards a more industrial techno sound, while the B-side, with its three remaining tracks, is primarily rooted in the electro style.

Release Date: October 31, 2025.

The Why people dance question was asked for the first time in Lithuania back in 2013 but it gained a worldwide echo in its 8 years of existence. Run by @pauliuskamblevicius with the help of @experimentsserial and a network of collaborators, the online electronic music platform and label keeps its heart open for new friends and treasure finds but its filter tight and deep underground. Lvcerate specializes in eccentric experiences, leaning into the darker corners of the dancefloor sound. His minimalistic approach is anchored in a dramatic and confident ambience, characterized by a pervasive acidic touch, EBM motifs, and edgy drums.
He aims to convey introspective narratives while fostering a subtle connection with electronic music.

Starting as a drummer in various post-punk and punk bands, his embrace of genres like industrial, electro, new beat, techno, dark disco, italo and new wave led him to begin producing electronica.

He has been part of such lineups as Black! Factory Festival, Strichka Festival, Closer, Stezhka, Community Café, Veselka, BRUKXT, Laboratorium, Otel’, Arsenal XXII, HVLV and others.

Valera also hosts the program "Cultivating Discipline" on @faderadio, which focuses on 80s-inspired noir music, initially emphasizing the Ukrainian scene
