London based DJ/Producer 'Sol Brown' is definitely a name you should be looking out for... Over the last 15 years Sol has been gracing the decks at some of London's most renowned nightclubs. From west London's Supperclub to east London's legendary Turnmills and Herbal, from north London's Egg club to south London's Ministry of Sound. During this time he's also held down DJ residencies in various other UK cities including Bristol, Cheltenham and Nottingham whist at the same time presenting weekly radio shows on London's UnknownFM and HouseFM.

Sol's production career kicked off in 2012, releasing under the guise 'Social Society' (a joint production collaboration with DJ friend Nat Wendell). Their debut release 'Just Fine' featured the outstanding vocal talent of Atlanta based songstress Stephanie Cooke. The record quickly caught the attention of Phil Asher and before long was released on London's legendary label - Restless Soul Music. Since then Sol's been busy in the studio advancing his production skills and working on numerous projects and remixes with the likes of Angela Johnson, Hanlei, Nicole Mitchell, Taliwa, Jaidene Veda, Lady Alma, Selina Campbell, Sacha Williamson, Lester Jay, Angel-A, the list goes on. You can currently find Sol's music worldwide on record labels including Rhemi Music, Quantize Recordings, Tony Records, Groove Odyssey, Makin' Moves, Restless Soul, Things May Change, Uno Mas Digital and more. If you haven't managed to catch one of his DJ sets lately, your most likely to catch him at Londons's Ministry of Sound, where he's held down a 6 year strong residency for Groove Odyssey.

Music wise, the next few years look set to be very busy for Sol. With releases set to drop on multiple records labels, the birth of his own record label and multiple DJ sets lined up both in the UK and abroad, the futures defiantly looking bright for Sol Brown.

Makin Moves are proud to present an exciting new project to the label, the track is called ‘Your Time To Shine’, born in the UK produced by Sol Brown with vocals from US soul legend Lady Alma.

Sol has had a busy last few years going from dj to producer and is currently riding the crest of a wave following some notable releases on Phil Asher’s Restless Soul label and more recently on Groove Odyssey Records with Taliwa on vocals.

Since the label begun 3 years ago we’ve wanted to work with Lady Alma and after Sol submitted the track to us we had all had know doubts who we wanted on it and the rest they say is history!

We really love the energy in the track and Alma’s vocals just tack things to a new level, spreading positivity along the way. Already road tested by the likes of Joe Claussell, Louie Vega and Opolopo this one looks set to be in many a djs cd case for sometime to come.

At less than six months from the original release date by the Chicago's music maestro Vick Lavender together Angela Tarrant as known as Angel-A, the project called "Deep & Wide" come back again on Gotta Keep Faith Records just in time for the summertime with some really exclusive remixes as you didn't heard since a long time.
For "The Remixes" package take part to the project the London based DJ Sol Brown, producer of some really high quality soulful releases and well known DJ in London's famous clubs like SupperClub, Egg, Turnmills, Herbals and Ministry Of Sound. His remixes open the package with the typical UK soulful energy that filled for years our records' bag and that also today continue to live thanks to other great producers like Sean McCabe, Nick Moss, Richard Earnshaw, Joey Negro just to name a few
Follow the remix of one of the GKF's stable remixers since a long time. We're talking about the Bolognese's producer Dj Umbi that have remixed the project with sounds that bring back to our mind music tastes from first Paris Saint Germain, Koop and Greg Porter. That's so interesting.
Then it's the turn for the Croatia's player & producer Davor Devcic Daga a.k.a. D3 that started producing music for GKF since 2007. The 70's live guitar riff and melodies will bring you in an amazing trip into the classic dance sound.

The neapolitan artist and producer FEDERICO D'ALESSIO started playing the guitar when he was only 7 years old. A life in the music, a life that bring him to produce projects in the house scene since 2002 with his first production alongside Dj Marco Corvino and a journey that still continued during these years releasing traxx for such labels like Deeptown Music, Double Cheese, King Street, Solid Ground, Soulshine just to name a few. Finally we have the honor to have him on board at Gotta Keep Faith Records with one of the most popular singer in the worldwide music scene: ALY-US

EDDIE LEWIS from ALY-US has created of the most popular tracks in the house music history: "Follow Me". Produced by Kyle Smith and written by Smith with vocalists Eddie "Super" Lewis and William "Kaylin-X" Jennings, the deep and uplifting track became an early-'90s house classic. A small batch of additional 12" releases followed during the next few years, such as a second one for Strictly Rhythm ("Time Passes On," 1993) and a pair for New Jersey label Music USA, including the Seasonal Faith double pack. In terms of popularity, nothing rivaled "Follow Me," which was re-circulated in 2009 with a number of fresh remixes. Lewis revived Aly-Us in the early 2010s with singles like "Find a Way" and "Early in the Morning."

Now is the time for Eddie Lewis to release his music alongside Federico d'Alessio on our GKF Records. This new project called "It's Beautiful" is a soulful house song that fit perfectly the GKF Records' mood. The project was developed entirely by Federico d'Alessio and performed by Eddie Lewis and we asked to some of our GKF's stable remixers to re-work it to give a full rooster of versions that go from Soulful to Deep House passing trought the classic funky style of D3.

Makin' Moves was set up in the Summer 2012, a new music and events company set up by Matt Langrish-Smith and Jamesey D. Makin' Moves nurtures up and coming talent, aswell as collaborating with established names. Matt has a wealth of experience under his belt having previously worked for dance independents Papa Records and Tribe Records UK, an internationally acclaimed label and events company. Jamesey, along with hosting his own radio show on www.housefm.net since 2004, has been an essential cog in the wheel of London's soulful & deep house scene, independently performing at most of the major parties in London swell as guest spots abroad in Japan, New York and Dubai.

Nate….Nate G or Nate Geezie

Whatever name you know him by…Nate has been involved in music in a variety of forms. He has been DJing since 1998 when he purchased his first set of turntables. In the years that would follow, Nate would find himself hosting his own campus radio show, DJing events and parties throughout the state of Indiana and rapidly increasing his music collection.

After college, he would move to the East Coast, where he landed a job working at XM Satellite Radio for 5 years. His passion for music grew and he began to DJ parties and events throughout the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia areas including his own series of charity fundraising events.

Bio:
Keith first started listening to House music back in 1991 when he would listen to his older brothers mix tapes which he brought back from raves.  At the weekend He would also listen in to pirate radio stations and was soon hooked to the rhythms of House ! It wasn’t until 1993 when he was 17 that he attended his first club and it was a life changing experience.     Not long after he got his first full time job and on his first payday brought a mixer, then following month brought some decks, every Saturday he would head out to his local record stores picking up the latest promos and search out tunes from some of his favourite labels and producers. He would spend the rest of the day spinning tunes and continuously practicing on the decks and then head out clubbing with friends in the evening. It was on the club scene he met many other friends with the same passion and they would hang out at after parties spinning tunes together. In 1995 he met Jackie after a cheesy chat-up line on the dance floor and they got married 3 years later. Jackie was a huge influence on Keith introducing him to more Soulful, Jazzy House beats and she also had a huge passion for music and had her own decks set-up at home.  Keith continued to play at parties and buy tunes up until 1999 when their first son was born.  Music then had to take a back seat and over the years he sold his vinyl collection and decks. Then in 2011 he was invited by an old friend to a charity house event and stepped back on the dance floor, Victor Simonelli was on the decks and the passion was reignited.  He went out again to a few more clubs and soon after brought a whole new DJ set-up and started mixing again.  He also started handing out mix CD’s and got his first break playing at Mi Casa Es Su Casa parties in the Nomad Club London in Feb 2013. Since then he has played again for Mi Casa as well as Harmony Parties, Smitten, Deep Into Soul, Funkalicious, House That Patrick Built, Interlaced, Mas Profundo and more in venues such as The Qube Project, Nomad Club, Metal Works, P.O.W, Cantina Bar, Project B, Charthouse Bar, Thames Boat Parties and many more.  Keith’s sets are always influenced by his US Soulful House roots with a mixture of long forgotten classics as well as the latest upfront Soulful & deep House cuts!
