The computers have been largely replaced with heavier machinery, interspersed with heavy pumps which take you to the rooftop area, allowing you to see the night sky. The water from before is now oil, which reduces how far you can see while you're submerged.

In the Good Future, Sonic is treated to a lovely landscape of an astounding recreation center. The beautiful view of the giant ice mounds has indeed been restored to their former glory, with little beacons of light upon them so that they may shine bright within the dark. The slippery nature of the ice has been utilized for a D.I.Y. sledding section of the area. There are even nice little heating stations for the residents to reside in, just in case they get too chilly out in this winter wonderland. And, in the distance, there would appear to be an aurora borealis taking place at this very moment...
