This show is dedicated to the memory of DJ SEXTOY (https://soundcloud.com/sextoy-1), the girl who teached me how to be a free artist. At the time, we used to work in the same club : I was the resident DJ, she was the guest DJ. While it was her turn to play, I was doing the light show. But in the middle of her dark techno set, she used to put a David Bowie song or a hard-rock track !! So of course, I didn’t know what to do with the lights... and it was always a funny time between us !! In theses moments, she explained me her conviction that there is NO FRONTIERS, NO LIMITS, NO RULES in our work if we are honest in our spirit. And this is how she encouraged me to be an electro DJ with a rock’n roll state of mind !

Parenthèse – Anamour

Les inspirations de Parenthèse sont variées, parmi elle il y a Serge Gainsbourg et en particulier ses premiers morceaux, il était donc tout naturel de reprendre un de ses titres avec la volonté de lui apporter une autre dimension tout en respectant l’œuvre originale.
Il s’agit de l’Anamour, un antonyme, formé avec le préfixe de négation an : sans amour, c‘est le vide ! Le néologisme « anamour » signifie littéralement « absence d’amour ».
Ce texte riche a laissé de nombreuses interprétations !
Le titre a d’abord été offert à Françoise Hardy (sorti en 1968) puis repris ensuite quelques mois après par Serge Gainsbourg en 1969.
Cet hommage porte aussi bien sur les arrangements musicaux en collaboration avec Sophonic que sur les paroles où Raphaël (Parenthèse) à rajouter plusieurs strophes en étant le plus fidèle au texte originel.

Since his early steps as a DJ in the legendary parisian Palace club in the middle of the 90’s, PIERRE DE PARIS devoted himself to electronic sounds. He mostly played in Europe for bars, clubs, festivals and major events as the Gay Pride. His style in two words : house & techno ! He masters various genres, from deep house to melodic techno. From the vinyl periode to the MP3 area, he is still making “𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘓 𝘔𝘐𝘟 𝘍𝘖𝘙 𝘙𝘌𝘈𝘓 𝘔𝘐𝘟 𝘓𝘖𝘝𝘌𝘙𝘚”. All this time, he met great creators of dance music. Even if some labels suggested him, he decided not to become a producer, considering that the release of his tracks would not change the history of music. He prefers to concentrate 100% on his DJ sets and podcasts, always promoting the finest electronic music of the artists he admires. This attitude makes him a very respected man. In 2022, he founded ELECTRO RADIO PODCAST, a hi-quality show place for his friends DJ-Producers. After 30 years of carreer, PIERRE DE PARIS is now considered as a reference on the underground electro scene in France.
