I was hoping to get back into shape somewhat, and as such I watched two movies yesterday. Well, tried to. First I watched Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo, a Spanish movie. I couldn't find subtitles for it, so I just watched it raw. I probably understood less than 50% of the dialogue. Ended up quitting halfway through because I had no idea what was going on in the movie, and because I couldn't fathom how that could possibly be improving my Spanish.


Then I watched Roma, the Mexican movie that won a few Oscars a few years ago, this time with subtitles. I understood the vast majority of it. Though granted, I'm much more familiar with Latin American Spanish dialects than I am with Spanish Spanish, so that played a role too.


I watched the Spanish adaptation of this book and I honestly thought it was one of the best teenage romances I've seen. It was well made and the actors were all very fitting for their roles.But I never really gave too much thought to reading the book. I knew it was translated in Bulgarian but I never saw a translation in English which was one of my reasons to not be too excited about reading the book.After all, I got the book in Bulgarian and now I'm not sureI watched the Spanish adaptation of this book and I honestly thought it was one of the best teenage romances I've seen. It's possible that I read a really, really bad translation, but it's also possible that the author has a very childish style of writing.What I can say from my overall impression of Tre metri sopra il cielo is that the overall idea of the book is good but the execution is lacking in many ways.1. I've read that nobody in Italy wanted to publish the book so the author paid for the first edition out of his own pocket.


It was a very popular book in Italy among teenagers and it surely does have an appeal to it. It's fun and sad and when I was 17 and read it for the first time, it made me cry a lot.Also, Riccardo Scamarcio is such a perfect Step. He makes the movie worth watching! Siento mucha curiosidad acerca de eso, porque mi amigo, Hellena Elen.Tres Metros Sobre El Cielo or Three Meters Above Heaven in English and 'Tiga Meter di atas Langit' in Bahasa.She recommended a film with title 'Tres metros sobre el cielo' same with this one. She told me, the film has a beautiful story. So, I found out about the movie. The movie adapted by a novel.I very.very.very want to read this one.

Organist Hervormde gemeente , Grote kerk en Maranatha kerk te sliedrecht.  Jan E. Dekker kreeg zijn eerste orgellessen van zijn vader. Van 1988 tot 2015 volgde hij literatuurlessen bij Bram Beekman. Voor het kerkelijke orgelspel volgde hij improvisatielessen bij Jan Bonefaas. Naast zijn dagelijks werk als electro technicus, heeft hij in de avonduren voor het staatsexamen orgel gestudeerd, zijn docenten waren o.a. Jaap Zwart muziek theorie en Theo Theunissen pedagogiek. Hij behaalde in 1993 akte A en in 1995 akte B voor orgel. Tevens behoorde hij tot de prijswinnaars op de orgelconcoursen te Elburg (1985) en Gorinchem (1987 en 1988). In 2002 heeft hij meegewerkt aan een CD-productie ter gelegenheid van het 150-jarig bestaan van het Naber-orgel in de Grote Kerk te Sliedrecht.
