Eight Miles High is a six-piece Melbourne based neo-soul, funk and blues band. Dione Healey fronts the outfit with her soulful vocal style, backed by a group of experienced musicians creating reimagined classics that will get you moving for sure! The horn section delivers punchy soul vibes with Scott Breschkin on alto sax and Miles Izzo on trumpet, while Jesse Hyde brings a blues-roots influence on guitar. Tying this outfit together with funk grooves is the rhythm section consisting of Ian Clarke on bass and Bryan Cracknell.  Members met during festival appearances while performing with other line-ups and had a vision for creating soul-defining tracks with a blues/funk overlay.  Eight Miles High is all about keeping music fun and getting people dancing.
