This was my entry for SKIO MUSIC's 'Sound of Shadows' Matoma & JP Cooper Remix Contest. 

The vocoder and main Vox really appealed to me. 
Something just kinda said 'Soul' to me on this one, and I gated the main Vox to get something close to a dry version and more intimate. 
The track has a heavy break beat with keys and pads surrounding the vocals. A definite Moby from the 90s vibe.

The first single "Save Yourself" is the perfect representation of everything FÄM stands for. The song describes the feeling you experience (as a woman) when walking down the streets by yourself. That uncomfortable, annoying, unsafe feeling. The song wants to call upon, those who have ever felt unsafe on the streets before, to put a stop to this phenomenon.
